About me

Hi, I'm Elizabeth Martos.
Photographer and creative mentor.
I've been making a living from photography for over 13 years, but my way of creating changed when I understood something that transformed my work: photography is not just about technique, but about vision and intention.
For a long time, I took pretty photos. Correct photos. Photos that worked.
But there was something that frustrated me: I lived in a place where I didn't have great landscapes or spectacular locations around me.
I felt that my images depended too much on what I had available.
Until I decided to change the question.
Instead of thinking "what place do I have to photograph," I started asking myself:
"what image do I want to create."
That opened my mind.
I started designing my photos before taking them, building scenes from the idea, using editing and technology to create the backgrounds and atmospheres that previously only existed in my head.
And then everything changed.
Today I create artistic images with a cinematic aesthetic even from simple locations, combining photography, creativity, and technology to build scenes that previously seemed impossible.
And that is exactly what I teach today. I accompany photographers who want to stop depending on the perfect location or having "everything in their favor," to start creating with intention, develop their own vision, and build images that truly set them apart.
Because when a photographer understands their creative process, they gain something much more valuable than a good photo:
They gain the freedom to create,
the freedom to differentiate themselves,
and the freedom to stop competing on price.
